How To Use An Abundance Mindset To Release Pressure And Stop Operating From Fear

People who operate from abundance just MOVE differently. When you have an abundant mindset, there is no need to worry or protect or brace; because you know and understand that there is always more then enough. More than enough money, love, opportunities, time. This mindset allows you to focus on you, take your time, trust that the things that are meant for you will always be yours. Operating in abundance opens you up.

Compare that to a scarcity mindset which tells you to take every opportunity (even the ones you know are wrong for you) because another may not come, to settle because who knows when you will get another chance, to constantly brace yourself to defend. Operating from scarcity closes you off, and the worst part is that people who operate from scarcity think you're protecting yourself. In reality though, you're just closing yourself off. In this episode I discuss the difference between abundance mindset and scarcity mindset, and teach you how to cultivate an abundance mindset.

A Mindset By Any Other Name Would Still Smell As Sweet 🌹🌹

If you stop reading after this sentence, you will still leave with a transformation.

Your mindset determines everything else in your life.

Our mindset- aka how mind interprets incoming data and makes sense of it - shapes the trajectory of our lives. Mindset exists on a spectrum with scarcity at one end and abundance on the other end. A scarcity mindset leads to fear and defensiveness because mind prioritizes scarcity, while an abundance mindset opens doors and keeps your attention on infinite opportunity. A funny thing that I've seen in my own life and in the lives of clients once they start being more intentional with their mindset and surrounding ourselves with people who have an abundance mindset is that universe starts opening doors and putting opportunities in front of you to give you more abundance. Basically, when all you see is abundance and opportunities, that's what shows up for you. What you see, universe will give you.

Talk about manifesting.

Why Abundance Mindset Matters

The core foundation of abundance mindset revolves around the belief that there is always more than enough. Let's think about it this way- resources, energy, money, clients, love, and opportunities, are ever-flowing and infinite. This mindset eliminates the need for competition or operating from pressure, as there is no scarcity to fight over. ?This allows us to operate from a place of trust and openness, because more is always on the way.

One of the key benefits of adopting an abundance mindset is the willingness to take risks. When operating from an abundance mindset, of something doesn't work out the way you want it to, that's okay because there are more opportunities on the way. This mindset becomes a safety net, allowing you to take leaps and pursue their goals with confidence.

Does that mean we get everything we want with no work? Absolutely not, abundance is a mindset, not a sugar daddy.

Pros Of An Abundance Mindset

With an abundance mindset, instead of being terrified at challenges, you can view challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. This allows us to embrace challenges as a chance to develop new skills and expand our capabilities. Abundance mindset puts is in problem solving mode instead of survival mode.

Generosity is another characteristic associated with an abundance mindset. When you see overflow all around you, there's no need to hoard resources (no Scrooge McDucks around here thankies). This generosity fosters collaboration and creates a positive cycle of giving and receiving. And guess what happens when you give more, you also receive more.

However, shifting from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset is not without its challenges. Since most people are conditioned to think in terms of scarcity, most people grow up seeing the world as a pie where one person's gain means another person's loss. I prefer to think of the universe in terms of infinite pies, where my win is your win and your win is my win and none of them compete.

Unlimited pies? Sounds dope.
